Print Disabled Services
We have a collection of library materials specifically for people with print disabilities including, visual, physical or learning/reading disabilities. To register for Print Disabled Service, fill out the Print Disability Eligibility Form and bring it to your local library location. This form is a self declaration.
Home Reader Service
Library materials are available to anyone living in Saskatoon who is unable to visit the library because of illness, age or disability. We will select library materials and have them delivered according to a schedule. This service is free. Call 306.986.9719 for more information.
SPL has technical equipment to help people access information in alternate formats.
The library can come to you! Library materials are available at drop-in centres, senior care homes and residences, youth homes, correctional facilities, and other short-term-stay facilities for people of all ages.
Local volunteers and Outreach and Access Services Staff choose materials that meet the needs of residents, and coordinate book exchanges.
