Better Business Bureau
- Access their membership directory and read consumer tips on such topics as Refunds and Exchanges and Door to Door Sales. You will also learn what types of complaints the Better Business Bureau handles, and how to file a complaint.
Business Development Bank of Canada
- Business Development Bank of Canada is a financial institution owned by the Federal Government. BDC provides financial and consulting services to Canadian entrepreneurs, with a focus on technology and exporting.

- The Federal government's website for Business information includes tax, regulations, financing and Human Resources Management.

- For information on starting and running a business, government financing, business plans, etc, visit the Business Service Centre located at 345 3rd Ave South, Saskatoon or visit their Website. It's a joint federal/provincial initative with links to federal organizations and Saskatchewan government departments and agencies.

Canadian Women's Business Network
- When you choose "Resources" you will find links under such headings as "Business Development", "Market Research" and "Web Design". Another useful option is "Articles", where you will find brief, copyrighted articles on a variety of topics.

Performance Plus: Small Business Profiles
- Performance Plus uses the "Small Business Profiles" data from Statistics Canada to provide detailed financial and employment data on small businesses by industry for Canada, the provinces and territories. Search by SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) number or choose from a list of businesses.

Raj Manek Business Mentorship Program
- If you are operating a business in Saskatoon, you can get valuable advice and information from a mentor through this nonprofit program. Administered by the Raj Manek Trust Fund in partnership with the Saskatoon and District Chamber of Commerce, this program was named in memory of Raj Manek, who worked for Regional Economic Development department and was a mentor to people in small business.

Saskatoon Region Online Supplier Database
- Search for products and services of local companies. Browse by industry sector and link to company homepages. SREDA (Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority) provides this database but they have not checked the accuracy of the information that has been supplied to them.

- One of SREDA's key roles is "to attract investment to the Saskatoon region." Check out the advantages of doing business in Saskatoon.

- Industry Canada's website includes links to "Starting a Business", Financing and "Using Electronic Commerce". The CA Number Database allows you to search by CA Number, a 5 digit identification number assigned to textile products (clothing, towels, etc.) of Canadian textile manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers or importers.
Technology Industry: Saskatchewan's Science Map
- Profiles of Saskatchewan companies in the Technology industry. If the company has a web site, you can link to it. Science Map is a partnership of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Hamilton Myriadgate Technology.

- This Federal crown corporation insures deposits at its member institutions, and reimburses depositors when a member institution fails. Check the list of CDIC members to find out if your financial institution is included.

Canadian MoneySaver
- An online version of the popular magazine. The "Article Library" provides the full text of a sampling of articles and instructions and prices for ordering other articles. - The Investor Learning Centre is a not-for-profit organization. Their site includes the answers to the most frequently asked questions, the top 10 investment sites, a glossary of investment terms, and a selection of the best books on investing.
SEDAR (Canadian public companies & mutual funds)
- SEDAR is the "System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval". Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) and CDS Inc. (a subsidiary of the Canadian Depository for Securities Ltd.) operate this web site, and provide profiles on Canadian public companies and mutual funds. You will also find press releases, interim financial statements and annual reports at this site.
